Abstract
Traditional medicine has utilized the perennial herbaceous plant Mirabilis longiflora to treat a variety of illnesses. Its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antiviral capabilities are all attributed to its phytochemical composition, which also includes flavonoids, alkaloids, and phenolic acids. The therapeutic potential of Mirabilis longiflora and its prospective uses in creating innovative treatments for a range of illnesses are highlighted in this review, which also emphasizes the need for more study to completely investigate its medicinal worth.
