International Journal of Research in Agronomy · 2025 · Vol. 8(7) · pp. 178–180

Abstract

The experiment was carried out at Agriculture Research Farm of Rama University, mandhana, Kanpur, India, during 2024-2025 with the goal of the investigate how organic and inorganic fertilizers affect the growth characteristics of potatoes and investigate how potato productivity and quality are affected by both organic and inorganic fertilizers. The experiment was laid out in RBD considering nine treatments with three replications. Results obtained from the present investigation, it is conducted that the highest growth and yield parameters viz.,emergence percent 90.14, Plant height in 90, no of shoot per plant 5.84, diameter of stem 4.78, fresh weight of shoot per plant 192.46, days of tuber initiation 31.24, number of stolons per plant 28.44, number of tubers per plant 7.12, fresh weight of tubers per plant 56.86, total tuber yield kg /plot 18.68, total tuber yield q/ha 231.54, starch 21.38) was observed with the treatment T7 80% RDF + FYM@15tha-1. The lowest values of these parameters were recorded under control.
