Green biosynthesis of silver nanoparticles: An eco-friendly and sustainable alternative: Review
Abstract
Chemical methods of manufacturing nanoparticles have adverse environmental effects due to some toxic chemicals that may be absorbed on their surface, as well as chemical methods are an environmental burden, and therefore the green manufacture of plant extracts provides an economical, sustainable and environmentally friendly way, metal nanoparticles in particular have attracted a lot of attention recently due to their unique properties such as large surface area, high stability, easy chemical modification and effectiveness as a filler to enhance permeability and flexibility of synthesis. This study provides a summary of the general types of nanomaterial and their classification and provides an overview of the methods of green manufacturing of nanoparticles and their applications, based on the many studies that have explained in this article we conclude that plant sources used to prepare nanoparticles are useful from an industrial point of view as a goal to find safe and economical alternatives to antibiotics.
