Current situation and factors affecting shuttlecock training among non-physical education students at Thai Nguyen University of Education, Vietnam

Abstract

Using methods such as literature review, interviews, pedagogical observations, and statistical analysis, this study evaluates the current state and influencing factors on shuttlecock training among non-Physical Education students at the Thai Nguyen University of Education, Vietnam. Findings indicate that more students enroll in the shuttlecock course than in other physical education courses. However, the rate of high academic achievement remains low, with the majority obtaining average results. Notably, participation in extracurricular shuttlecock activities is minimal. The study also identifies seven key factors affecting the shuttlecock training process for these students.
