International Journal of Research in Agronomy · 2025 · Vol. 8(6) · pp. 661–663

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during kharif 2024-25 at the Instructional Farm Agricultural, Mewar University, Gangrar, Chittorgarh. The experiment consisted of nine treatment combinations involving different levels of bio-fertilizers with use of Pratap- 3variety planting at 60 cm X 20 cm. spacing. The experiment was laid out in factorial randomized block design with three replications. Treatment likeT1 - Control,T2-50% VAM,T3-75% VAM, T4-50% Azospirillum, T5-75% Azospirillum, T6-50% PSB, T7-75% PSB, T8-50 VAM+ Azospirillum+ PSB, T9-75 VAM+ Azospirillum + PSB. The significant differences in growth and yield of maize were recorded to different bio fertilizer. The maximum plant height (75.68 and 105.25 cm 30 DAS and 60 DAS), the highest stem diameter recorded (7.34 cm), Maximum relative leaf area (218.25 cm), the grain yield of maize differs significantly to different bio fertilizer treatments. The highest grain yield (5699.61 kg ha-1 kg), biological yield of maize influenced higher biological yield (12249.89 kg ha-1) maximum straw yield was (6560.22 kg ha-1) Maximum fetched value in term of net return (68493.38 ha-1), Highest B: C ratio was recorded (1.51) with 75 VAM+ Azospirillum + PSB. While minimum B: C ratio was (1.02) observed in control.
