Implementation pattern of student ready programme in state Agricultural Universities of Karnataka and Telangana
Abstract
The study was conducted in University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Bangalore and Professor Jayashankar Agricultural University (PJTSAU), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad to analyze the implementation pattern of student READY programme during 2021-2022. Forty agricultural students who are in eighth semester of their undergraduation from each university were selected through simple random sampling method. Data was collected through personal interview method and was documented. UAS, Bangalore offers Rural Work Experience (RAWE) and Agro-Industrial Attachment (AIA) in the seventh semester and Hands on Training (HoT) in the eighth semester of undergraduation whereas in PJTSAU, Students are divided into 2 batches. One batch undergone RAWE, AIA and other batch undergone Experiential Learning (EL)in7thsemester of their final year under graduation and vice versa in 8th semester.
