An experimental study by estimation of the level of hyaluronan synthase in patients suffering from osteoarthritis of knee, treated with rhus toxicodendron
International Journal of Homoeopathic Sciences · 2025 · Vol. 9(2) · pp. 863–867
Abstract
Cases of osteoarthritis with predefined symptoms of Rhustoxicodendron have been taken up for the study by estimate the level of hyaluronan synthase before and after treatment. The study reveals that there was an increase in hyaluronan synthase in 29 cases (97%) and improvement in the symptoms with p value of 0.00 (99%) Thus the study proves that Rhustoxicodendron increases hyaluronan synthase level with decrease in hyaluronic acid which results in symptomatic relief.
