The effect of the SCAMPER strategy according to bodily-kinesthetic intelligence on developing certain basic football skills for students

Abstract

The aim of the research was to investigate the effect of the SCAMPER strategy according to bodily-kinesthetic intelligence on developing certain basic football skills among students. The research problem emerged in light of the researchers’ observation that some of the teaching strategies currently employed lack a clear impact or effective influence in enhancing students’ levels of knowledge, creativity, and acquisition of basic football skills. This issue cannot be overlooked but can be addressed through scientifically grounded methods, particularly by adopting new strategies and modern approaches to improve the reality of teaching. The research hypotheses posited the existence of statistically significant differences in performance levels between the two research groups, in favor of the students who learned using the SCAMPER strategy based on bodily-kinesthetic intelligence. The researchers adopted the experimental method, with a sample consisting of (30) third-year students from the University of Kufa. The sample was divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group. Various tools and instruments were employed to collect data, and the researchers utilized appropriate statistical methods, including the SPSS program. The researchers concluded that the SCAMPER strategy, when applied according to bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, had a positive effect on the basic football skills under investigation. The most important recommendation emphasized the need to adopt the SCAMPER strategy according to bodily-kinesthetic intelligence for football students.
