Non-invasive aesthetic management of anterior teeth discolouration by vital bleaching-twin case reports
Abstract
Discoloration of teeth interferes with the aesthetic outlook of individuals. Modern society places a significant importance to appearance, of which the teeth play a critical role. Bleaching is one of the most non-invasive and conservative procedures used to treat tooth discolorations. Apart from other non-conservative methods of dealing with tooth discolorations like macroabrasion, veneers and crowns, bleaching is a popular treatment choice amongst patients due to its cost-effectiveness and treatment time. This case report aims to show that discoloration can be managed effectively using hydrogen peroxide as the bleaching agent resulting in good results.
