Epidemiology of benign breast disease in rural population of north Maharashtra

Abstract

A field experiment was conducted during the Rabi season of 2022-23 at the Student Instructional Farm, C.S. Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur, to study the effect of integrated nutrient management (INM) on wheat production. The experiment comprised ten treatments including organic manures (FYM and vermicompost), inorganic fertilizers (100% RDF), and biofertilizers (Azotobacter), arranged in a Randomized Block Design with three replications. Finally found that 100% RDF + Azotobacter was found to be statistically superior across several growth and yield parameters. It recorded a significantly higher initial plant population (119.66) and the highest final population (434.66). The maximum plant height at 30 days (25.93 cm), 90 days (99.92 cm), and at harvest (99.97 cm) was observed in the 100% RDF + Azotobacter treatment. Furthermore, this treatment also showed the highest fresh weight at 60 days (39.03 g) and 90 days (57.27 g), as well as the maximum dry weight at 60 days (13.57 g) and 90 days (19.57 g). In terms of yield attributes, the same treatment exhibited the longest spike length (13.77 cm) and the highest number of grains per spike (54.00).
