Mental health and adolescence: A comprehensive review
International Journal of Advanced Academic Studies · 2025 · Vol. 7(5) · pp. 155–159
Abstract
Mental health challenges are among the leading causes of disease burden in adolescents. Yet, efforts to study and improve adolescent mental health are hampered by a lack of validated tools and clear definitions. Many current assessments fail to capture the complex and varied experiences of adolescent wellness. To address this, the authors propose an integrative review to analyse and synthesize existing empirical and theoretical research on adolescent mental health.
