Correlation between shoulder external-internal rotation strength ratio and throwing accuracy in cricketers: An observational study

Abstract
Methods: A cross‐sectional observational study was conducted with 41 recreational cricketers (mean age: 20.17±2.77 years) recruited from clubs and academies in Belagavi. Isometric strength of the shoulder rotators was measured using a Jamar hand‐held dynamometer, while throwing accuracy was assessed via the Functional Throwing Performance Index (FTPI). Pearson’s correlation coefficient was applied to determine the relationship between the ER:IR strength ratio and throwing accuracy.
