Abstract
Parenting has an important role in shaping children’s intellectual, emotional, and social development. This has a significant impact on their educational outcomes. Different parenting styles and techniques affect academic performance, motivation, and educational achievements. Different psychological theories and contemporary studies have highlighted the impact of parental involvement, communication, expectations, and emotional support. Cultural and socioeconomic factors also play an important role as they intersect with parenting to shape educational trajectories.
