To assess the effect of integrated nutrient management on yield and yield attributes of barley

Abstract

The study, conducted 2023-24 at AKS University's experimental farm, aimed to study factors and agricultural operations convenience. Twelve treatments, including inorganic fertilizers, organic manure, and biofertilizers, were randomly assigned to different plots. The study found that the application of higher nutrients improved barley crop yields. The highest spike length was 7.90 cm with 100% NPK + Zn @ 10 Kg/ha application, while the highest number of grains per spike was 60.36 with lesser nutrients. The highest test weight was 36.98 g with 100% NPK + Zn @ 10 Kg/ha, and the highest grain yield per hectare was 3.78 t/ha with lesser nutrients. The findings suggest that higher nutrients can improve barley crop yields.
