Role of AI technologies in soil health monitoring system

International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research · 2025 · Vol. 9(4) · pp. 1158–1162

Abstract

Healthy soil is essential for both agricultural productivity and ecosystem sustainability. Soil health management as one of the major aspects of agriculture and food production, maintains and improves the soil health for agriculture's success. Traditional methods for analyzing soil health have been labor-intensive, time-consuming, and geographically limited. The farming sector has seen a dramatic change in recent years due to the introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly in the area of soil management. The potential to improve agricultural sustainability, productivity, and adaptation to resource constraints and climate change exists when Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies are integrated with soil health management. Data-driven approaches and recent advancements in Artificial Intelligence have opened up new possibilities for scalable, real-time soil health monitoring. The investigation of Artificial Intelligence tools that can enhance soil health management by offering more precise and effective monitoring, analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
