Percent parasitism of Chiku moth, Nephopteryx eugraphella (Ragonot) on sapota under Western Maharashtra conditions

Abstract

The percent Parasitism of sapota chiku moth, Nephopteryx eugraphella Rogonot (Lepidoptera : Pyralidae) infesting in relation to weather parameters was carried out on sapota variety viz., Kalipatti, at Moreover, 12 different species of predators and parasitoids observed in association with sapota, and the larval-pupal parasitoid, Xanthopimpala sp. Showed its higher parasitism (10.82 to 17.72%) in chiku moth larvae during June to August months.
