A case report of contact dermatitis treated with sulphur based on symptoms similarity, who was affected by pesticide used in farming

Abstract

When an allergy or irritant comes into direct touch with the skin, it can cause contact dermatitis, a form of inflammation. Redness, swelling, itching, and sometimes blistering are its defining characteristics. There are essentially two kinds: Skin-damaging disorder caused by exposure to strong chemicals or detergents is irritant contact dermatitis (ICD). The immune system's sensitivity to substances such as poison ivy, specific metals (like nickel), or fragrances is known as allergy contact dermatitis (ACD). Mild to severe symptoms may appear hours to days after coming into contact with the offending drug. Common treatments involve avoiding the allergen or irritant and using lotions, ointments, or other drugs to control symptoms.
