The intermediary role of organizational commitment in the relationship of the influence of the spirituality of the workplace in the well-being of workers': A survey study of the opinions of a sample of the teachers of the University of Fallujah

Abstract

The current study aims to evaluate the relationship of the impact of the spiritually of the workplace by its dimensions (spiritual orientation, compassion, purposeful work, alignment of values) on the well-being of employees with its dimensions (life well-being, workplace well-being, psychological well-being) and to know the mediating role played by organizational commitment through its dimensions (emotional commitment, continuing commitment, normative commitment) in this relationship, as the questionnaire was adopted as a tool for collecting data and the target sample was the humanities and scientific Colleges at the University of Fallujah, as the research population represented (364) teaching staff without regard to job positions, and the research relied on the exploratory approach analytical analysis of the opinions of faculty members in Colleges, as their number reached (187)teaching staff who were randomly selected. The research relied on programs (Amos V25, SPSS V.) with descriptive and inferential analytical statistical methods. The most prominent conclusion was the existence of a direct, direct relationship between (workplace spirituality, organizational commitment and employees well-being), in addition to the presence of partial mediation of the organizational commitment variable in the indirect relation between workplace spiritually employee well-being.
