Abstract
The trial was conducted to estimate avoidable yield loss caused by root-knot nematodes (Meloidogyne spp.) under protected cultivation at Department of Nematology, B. A. College of Agriculture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand (Gujarat) during 2022-23 and 2023-24. Soil application of with carbofuran 3 CG @ 3 kg a.i/ha effectively increased fruit yield with reduction in root-knot index and final root-knot nematode population registering 19.91 per cent yield loss over control.
