Low voltage is supplied to a higher voltage converter via a solar-charged battery
Abstract
Designing and building a 12V DC to 230V AC inverter at a frequency of 50Hz is the aim of this project. The swing motor, R555 Dc motor, and solar panels are the parts that were utilized to build the inverter. Locally sourced components were used in the design and construction. The fundamental idea is built on an oscillator that uses 12V DC from a controlled DC power source to create an alternating e.m.f. with a defined frequency and waveform, which is then converted into 230V AC at the transformer's output. The inverter was loaded with a 12W lightbulb. Additionally, a digital multimeter that measures 230V AC was connected to the transformer's output. The circuit operated adequately overall.
