Abstract

Background: The term electronic gadget indicates commonly used portable electronic devices, commonly used for socializing, gaming, academics, news, business, governance etc. Inappropriate electronic gadget usage causes musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs), due to prolonged static posture or overuse injury of muscle groups due to increased effort. Leading to, faulty posture like forward head posture, rounded shoulder posture commonly found in young adults using electronic gadgets. Objective: To establish relationship between FHP, and RSP among young adults using e-gadgets. Methodology: Study was conducted to assess FHP using modified goniometer and RSP using vernier calipers and establish a correlation between FHP and RSP.
