Effect of fertilizer and organic manures on Morphological attributes of Casuarina equisetifolia tree growth in different treatments of fertilizer and organic manures under guava based agri-silvi-horti system in sodic soil

Abstract

A field experiment was carried out from 2021 to 2023 at the Agroforestry Research Farm, Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, located in Kumarganj, Ayodhya (U.P). The experimental site is positioned at a latitude of 26°27' N and longitude of 82°12' E, approximately 42 km from Ayodhya, at an elevation of 113 meters above sea level. The experiment was designed using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications and nine treatment combinations, including T1 (control), T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, and T9. the pooled data of tree height of Casuarina equisetifolia under agri-silvi-horti system is measured before crop shown under the tree and after the harvesting of the crop and is ranges between 11.69 m to 12.31 m before the crop shown as well as data ranges between 11.89 m to 12.72 m after the harvesting of the crops under agri-silvi-horti system. The initial dbh of Casuarina equisetifolia under agri-silvi-horti system is measured before crop shown under the tree and after the harvesting of the crop both in the year 2021-22 as well as in the year 2022-23, While analyzing the pooled data of tree height of Casuarina equisetifolia under agri-silvi-horti system is measured before crop shown under the tree and after the harvesting of the crop and is ranges between 19.60 cm to 20.61 cm before the crop shown as well as data ranges between 20.49 cm to 21.26 cm after the harvesting of the crops under agri-silvi-horti system.
