Study of problematic behavior in special and integrated schools set ups among students with mild intellectual disability in the state of Haryana

Abstract

The present study was undertaken to know the problematic behavior in special and integrated schools set ups among students with mild intellectual disabilities in state of Haryana. BASIC-MR was used to asses the problematic behavior of students with mild disability in both the school set ups. The study was carried out on the sample of 400 children with mild intellectual disability including 104 males and 96 females from special schools and 103 males and 97 females from integrated schools of Haryana. The arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Maan Whitney test were computed. The findings of the study indicated significant difference between males and females of special schools as well as integrated school set ups.
