Homoeopathy as an alternative in the management of primary dysmenorrhea: A review

International Journal of Homoeopathic Sciences · 2025 · Vol. 9(1) · pp. 676–677

Abstract

Primary dysmenorrhea is the most common yet underestimated gynaecological issue faced by young girls and women worldwide. It is often a leading cause of absenteeism and decreased productivity among teenagers and young women. Conventional treatment primarily involves the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. This article examines the use of homoeopathic medicines as an alternative in the management of primary dysmenorrhea.
