Recent advances in schiff base-benzothiazole derivatives as corrosion inhibitors: A comprehensive review
Journal of Research in Chemistry · 2025 · Vol. 6(1) · pp. 26–30
Abstract
Corrosion of metal surfaces is a significant concern in various industries. The development of efficient and eco-friendly corrosion inhibitors is crucial to mitigate this issue. Schiff base compounds, particularly those incorporating the benzothiazole moiety, have emerged as promising candidates for corrosion inhibition due to their excellent protective properties and ease of synthesis. This paper intends to present a thorough examination of the current developments in the application of Schiff base-benzothiazole derivatives as corrosion inhibitors.
