A review-study of FTIR analysis of rapeseed oil
International Journal of Research in Engineering · 2025 · Vol. 7(1) · pp. 08–10
Abstract
In this review, we have concluded the use of IR spectroscopy in the study of non-added rapeseed oil used as a biodegradable lubricant. The spectrometer used is ALPHA II is used successfully in FT-IR applications in any industry, be it quantification, identification of unknowns, raw material verification, quality control or research. The peaks that appear are in the range of wavelengths 3000-600 cm-1 corresponding to different chemical groups.
