Abstract

It is an evident fact that the human body is composed of four primary constituents which play an essential role in the formation of simple organs by the aid of humors. These simple organs then form the compound ones and thus the body as a whole. So it can be derived that the human body is formed by the collection of simple organs (ten or twelve in no.) which are broadly categorized into four types according to their Mizaj (Temperament). These are; hot and moist, hot and dry, cold and moist and cold and dry. Mizaj of the human body is following their internal organs, especially vital organs. All the functions executed by the heart, liver, and brain are governed by three faculties: vital faculty, natural faculty &psychic faculty respectively and are inter-dependent for their mutual integrity of actions. If Mizaj of the vital organs remains within normal limit these organs remain healthy and perform normal functions which are necessary for health as well as life. When there is derangement in the Mizaj then the functions of these organs are also disturbed and lead to derangement in functions of the body.
