Policy frameworks for a green economy: Assessing global strategies for sustainable development

Abstract
Recognizing that the Green Economy is an action-oriented strategy to attain sustainable development, its widespread acceptance has raised the need for integrated models able to explain the complex links between social, economic, and environmental indicators. There is an evident gap: while our thinking is evolving fast, the tools at our disposal are still largely sector-specific, which makes planning operate in silos.
