Digital transformation of HRM: Challenges and opportunities - an analysis

Abstract

Novel corporations are pressured and must shift to digitization because of the current status of the world economy and the requirement to improve and handle viable difficulties. Enterprises now ought to deal with a significant shift in features and an expanded function for HR procedures due to the radical development of technology and the subsequent imposed transformation of enterprise patterns and strategies of function. HR specialists need to grow and amend new competencies to influence future company success. This article targets to examine and illustrate the present situation and develop the position of human resource management in the background of the digital revolution. The spheres of employee onboarding, engagement, rewards, learning, performance assessments, career growth, offboarding, and employee well-being, as well as how they have changed due to digital transformation, have all been thoroughly examined in the literature currently available. The primary finding of this article is that digitalization, has a significant impact on HRM, particularly when it comes to the use of HRIS, and the contribution of HR to the digital strategy.
