Studies of hydrology, water distribution networks and transmission lines, topographic, physical and socio-economic characteristics of west Kordofan

Abstract

The main objectives of the consultancy as depicted by this Article are to describe and avail Physical and Socioeconomic data/ information for the West Kordofan State project of villages and towns benefiting from the construction of detailed engineering designs for water distribution networks to supply the fourteen headquarters towns in the state, together with the design of a water transmission line. The article will deal with the Physical, topographic, and human environments, emphasizing the importance of the project area's geospatial and socioeconomic characteristics to align with the United Nations Geospatial Information Management (UNGGIM) for implementing sustainable development goals.
