Estimation of mean with imputation of missing data using auxiliary variable under adaptive cluster sampling

Abstract

In this present paper, we examined a few population mean estimators under adaptive cluster sampling while taking into account the fact that the sample observations are not all available—that is, some observations are missing because of sampling, handling or recording the data in the ACS. In this work, we expanded a few estimators of population mean that took into account sample missing observations. For both empirical research and comparisons, theoretical results are also obtained.
