Metaverse education: Enhance Indian classroom experience an overview

Abstract

A comprehensive overview of the metaverse concept will be provided in this paper, which involves its evolution, and its underlying technologies in India. Then, it will delve into metaverse education’s specific applications and benefits, highlighting its potential to foster an environment with interactive and inclusive learning. It analyzes current initiatives and pilot programs in India and examines the integration of metaverse technology into education. In addition, social and cultural concepts and challenges related to the introduction of metaverse education in the Indian text were critically analyzed. This qualitative research paper gathered secondary data through different websites and found roadblocks which hindered the feasibility and inclusiveness of adopting Metaverse technology in a diverse Indian educational landscape. Through this, we need continuous investment, research, and policy support to create an inclusive and sustainable metaverse-driven educational environment in India.
