An example of misuse of authority consists of the unjustified exercise of power and authority through power with negative results violating individuals rights and undermining justice and equality. If the claimant succeeds to establish his case and argue that administrative power has been abused in a particular way, then the administrative decision becomes unauthoritative. Court might act to set aside such a decision as being tinted with elements of an abuse of the process. Also, the aggrieved party can also turn to the judiciary channel to claim for the losses which arise from executing of the erroneous decision.
