Attitudes of faculty members in the faculty of education Samarra towards the use of the educational platform (EDMODO) in the teaching process

Abstract

The present study aims to determine the perceptions of the faculty members in the Faculty of Education Samarra regarding the use of the educational platform (Edmodo) in the teaching process. This study aimed to present the idea of the educational platform (Edmodo), its significance in the educational sector, and the benefits of utilizing it in the educational process, alongside identifying its features, as well as recognizing the primary challenges and obstacles faced by faculty members in the Faculty of Education Samarra when using this platform. The researchers employed a descriptive approach in their research. The study sample consisted of (60) faculty members from the Faculty of Education in Samarra who were chosen from various departments of the Faculty of Education. The researchers created a questionnaire as a means of data collection, which included two main sections: The first axis: What is the significance of utilizing the educational platform (Edmodo) in the educational process from the perspective of the faculty members at the Faculty of Education in Samarra. The second axis: What are the obstacles and challenges encountered in the use of the educational platform (Edmodo) in the educational process from the viewpoint of the faculty members at the Faculty of Education in Samarra. The researcher employed the statistical program (Spss20) in order to analyze the differences between the responses of the study sample members. The findings indicated that the perceptions of the teaching staff regarding the use of the educational platform (Edmodo) in the teaching process were mainly positive. The findings also highlighted the key challenges and difficulties associated with the use of the educational platform (Edmodo) in the educational process.
