Abstract
Integrated Nutrient Management (INM) technology enhances agricultural crops by providing essential nutrients, increasing production, and maintaining soil productivity and fertility. By combining organic manures and chemical fertilizers, along with practices like crop rotations, legume introduction, and effective water, weed, and insect-pest management, INM optimizes nutrient application methods and timing for maximum efficiency. INM is a vital strategy in addressing agricultural challenges, offering dual benefits in improving plant performance and resource efficiency while safeguarding the environment and resource quality. This review delves into the concepts, objectives, procedures, principles, and applications of INM in agriculture, highlighting various methodologies for its advancement. Strong evidence suggests that adopting INM practices can be a creative and environmentally friendly approach for sustainable agriculture on a global scale.
