Abstract

Mahatma Gandhi became the Time Person of the Year in 1931. He was very popular in Europe and America too. He went to France for the first time when he was only twenty-one years old. During his second journey, Europe was witnessing the rise of Fascism and Nazism as well as it was suffering from extreme economic depression. Along with his passion to see France, he also spoke for the cause of non-violence and womens rights.
