Response of multi-micronutrients mixture on fruit quality of sapota cv. Kalipatti
Abstract
The research on “Response of multi-micronutrients mixture on fruit quality of sapota cv. Kalipatti” was carried out at Horticultural Research Farm, College of Horticulture, Anand Agricultural University, Anand during the years 2020-21 & 2021-22. The experiment was laid out in Completely Randomized Design with eleven treatments comprising with application of different multi-micronutrient grades at flowering and at pea stage compared with control. The treatments were repeated thrice and one tree is considered as one treatment. The findings revealed that application of multi-micronutrients mixture grade-IV @ 1% spray at flowering and pea stage with soil application of micronutrient grade-V @ 125 g/tree as basal were recorded significantly higher quality parameters in terms of total soluble solids (23.52 oBrix), total sugar (18.62%), reducing sugar (6.14%), non- reducing sugar (12.47%), shelf life (8.72 days) and fibre content (2.51%). While, other observation like acidity was found non-significant during both years and pooled.
