Development and effectiveness of community reintegration occupational therapy programme (CROT-p) for stroke survivors

Abstract

Stroke is a leading cause of disability globally, profoundly affecting survivors’ quality of life. Community reintegration, a critical aspect of stroke rehabilitation, remains underexplored. This study aims to develop and validate a structured Community Reintegration Occupational Therapy Programme (CROT-P) tailored for stroke survivors. A cross-sectional survey involving 22 participants evaluated various therapeutic interventions using validated tools. Results showed significant correlations among the interventions, with high internal consistency (Cronbach’s Alpha = 0.898). The findings underscore the efficacy of CROT-P in addressing community reintegration challenges, providing a reliable framework for holistic rehabilitation.
