International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research · 2024 · Vol. 8(12) · pp. 516–518

Abstract

The period of spawn development in different grain substrates of Pleurotus florida were studied in mushroom and spawn production unit, Section of Plant pathology, S. G. College of Agriculture and Research Station, Jagdalpur, Bastar. Different grain substrates via barley, jowar, wheat, maize and rice. Among the tested grains, less period for spawn development of Pleurotus florida was recorded in jowar grains (6.55 days) followed by maize grains (6.77 days), wheat grains (11.33 days), barley grains (12.99 days) and maximum period of spawn development of Pleurotus florida was recorded in rice grains (14.00 days).
