Awareness level and utilization pattern of beneficiaries farmers of electronic-national agriculture market scheme in Pune division of Maharashtra state

Abstract

This study was conducted during the year 2023 up to March 2024 in two Agriculture Produce Market Committee mandi of Sangli district of Pune division of Maharashtra State. The data was collected from 100 farmers with the help of structured interview schedule to know the awareness level and utilization pattern of e-NAM scheme of the famers. The majority of farmers were having 100.00 per cent awareness about e-NAM registration like copy of Id proof, 98.00 per cent were having awareness about Licensing, 94.00 per cent were having awareness about benefits of e-NAM, 90.00 per cent were having awareness about personal details, 87.00 per cent farmers were having awareness about price details of e-NAM and 86.00 per cent farmers were having awareness about cooperative module involves in e-NAM scheme. In registration copy of Id proof was found in first ranks. The majority of respondents were having high utilization pattern of e-NAM scheme in fruit crop of Mango, in cereal crops Wheat, Sorghum, Maize and Paddy and in vegetable crops Brinjal and Tomato.
