International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research · 2024 · Vol. 8(12S) · pp. 441–444

Abstract

The current studied was conducted at Research cum Instructional Farm IGKV RMD CARS, Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh. The present investigation was carried out in 25 horse gram genotype for various quantitative traits. Correlation analysis revealed positive and highly significant association of seed yield with biological yield, number of pods per plant, number of branches per plant, number of seeds per pod, plant height, number of pods per cluster, number of cluster per plant anddays to 50% flowering. Biological yield and harvest index, number of seeds per pod, day to maturity, plant height per plant and 100 seed weight showed positive direct effect on seed yield per plant so these are the most important yield component in the present study on horsegram.
