Abstract
This research study draws upon the work of Piperski (2015) which explored the application of graph theory to linguistic complexity. This research, however, focused its attention to the applicability of graph theory principles to the complexity of the verb phrases in terms of morphological structures and their semantic contents. We conducted a detailed graph analysis to investigate the properties of the form-meaning relationship with two tiers (The form tier and the meaning tier).
