Use of ayurvedic rejuvenation therapies for enhancing women's reproductive health

Journal of Kaumarbhritya and Stree Vigyan · 2024 · Vol. 1(1) · pp. 13–15

Abstract

Ayurveda, a comprehensive system of traditional medicine, offers holistic therapies aimed at rejuvenating the body and mind. Known as Rasayana, these rejuvenation therapies are crucial for enhancing women's reproductive health by maintaining hormonal balance, improving fertility, regulating menstrual cycles, and alleviating menopausal symptoms. This paper delves into the use of Ayurvedic therapies-such as Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Gokshura-and how they contribute to reproductive health. By integrating classical Ayurvedic wisdom and modern scientific studies, this research highlights the potential of these therapies as complementary approaches in modern reproductive healthcare.
