Effect of nano phosphorus on growth of soybean (Glycine max L.)

International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research · 2024 · Vol. 8(11S) · pp. 520–524

Abstract

A field study entitled “Assessing Efficiency of nano phosphorus on soybean” was conducted during Kharif 2023-24 at Research Farm, Department of Soil Science, Dr. PDKV, Akola. The experiment was framed with twelve treatments replicated thrice using randomized block design. The results indicated that plant height (cm), number of branches plant-1, number of leaves plant-1, dry matter accumulation (g) plant-1, leaf area (cm2) plant-1, number of pods plant-1, number of nodules and nodule dry weight (mg) plant-1 were significantly influenced by different nano phosphorus treatments. However, growth parameters and nodulation data significantly influenced by the seed treatment with 6 ml kg-1 and foliar spray with 6 ml nano P lit-1. at 30 and 60 DAS (T12). While, lowest values for growth parameters and nodulation data recorded in absolute control (T1).
