Abstract

Gastrointestinal infections are a significant cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly in developing regions. These infections often lead to various forms of intestinal lesions, which can range from mild inflammation to severe ulceration and necrosis. This research article aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the types, mechanisms, and clinical implications of intestinal lesions associated with gastrointestinal infections.
