Performance of Napier bajra hybrids in northern zone of Telangana

Abstract
A field experiment was conducted at Livestock Farm Complex, College of Veterinary Science, Korutla (Telangana) to study the performance of Napier Bajra Hybrids in northern zone of Telangana. The treatments comprised of nine Hybrid Napier cultivars viz., CO-1, CO-2, APBN 1, Pakchong-1, Hiramani, BNH-10, CO (BN) 5, Red Napier and CO (CN) 4. A total of nine treatment combinations were laid out in randomized block design with three replications. The data revealed that hybrid CO (BN) 5 recorded significantly higher green forage yield over other hybrids followed by Pakchong-1.
