Bio fertilizer: A sustainable approach to enhance plant growth development and yield of flower and ornamental crops

Abstract

Biofertilizers are a sustainable and environmentally friendly substitute for chemical fertilisers that show promise in enhancing plant development, growth, and production. Through a variety of processes, these natural products are produce from helpful microbes (like as bacteria, fungi, and algae) improve soil fertility by increasing nutrient availability, strengthening soil structure, and accelerating plant growth. Biofertilizers can greatly improve the overall quality, flowering patterns, and aesthetics of plants grown for flower and ornamental crops. In this review, paper shows the efficiency of biofertilizers in boosting nutrient uptake, disease resistance, and stress tolerance with their involvement in the growth and productivity among different crops. The potential of bio fertilizers as an essential component of sustainable agriculture for the cultivation of ornamental plants is emphasized, with a focus on the emphasizing their environmental benefits and the need for widespread adoption in commercial floriculture and ornamental crop production.
