Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the analgesic and antioxidant effect of the aqueous extract of the root barks of Rauvolfia obscura k-schum (Apocynaceae) in laboratory animals. Analgesic activity was assessed in mice and rats, using the Kooster and Tail-Flick tests respectively.
