Abstract
The present study “Studies on physico-chemical properties of oil extracted from Charoli (Buchanania lanzan Spreng.) during storage” was carried out at Dr. B.S.K.K.V., Dapoli University, Post Graduate Institute of Post-Harvest Technology and Management, Killa-Roha, Department of Post-Harvest Management of Medicinal, Aromatic, Plantation, Spices and Forest Crops, during the year 2023-2024.This experiment consisted of six treatments, which included different packaging materials viz., Amber colour bottle, Clear glass bottle, PET bottle (Non-transparent), Standing pouch with nozzle, White HDPE bottle and PET bottle (Transparent). The outcome of this study is that the Charoli oil stored in Amber colour bottles showed significant results.
