International Journal of Advanced Biochemistry Research · 2024 · Vol. 8(10) · pp. 432–436

Abstract

The current study entitled “Effect of foliar spray of mico-nutrients on fruit quality and yield of guava cultivar Lalit” was carried out in the Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Raebareli Road, Lucknow during the year 2021-22 and 2022-23.The experiment was laid out in Randomized Block Design with nineteen treatments and replicated thrice with a unit of one plant in each replication of a treatments. Different dose of Borax @ 0.1%, 0.2%, Zinc 0.2%, 0.4% and Copper Sulphate (CuSO4) 0.2%, 0.3% along with control were sprayed in Lalit guava. Result shows that maximum yield (23.600 t/ha), TSS (14.280 0B), ascorbic acid (268.890 mg/100 g pulp), pectin (1.117%), acidity (0.310%), TSS/acid ratio (41.130), reducing sugar (4.917%), non- reducing sugar (3.293%), total sugar (8.207%) and sugar/acid ratio (26.500) were recorded with combination of Borax 0.2% + Zinc 0.4% followed by Borax 0.2% + Zinc 0.2%.
